Saturday 31st week Samedi 31e semaine

“No servant can be the slave of two masters; he will either hate the first and love the second, or be attached to the first and despise the second.”

Ph.4,10-19 Ps.111 Lk.16,9-15

Saturday 31st week

“Jesus said ’And so I tell you, use money, tainted as it is, to win you friends, and thus make sure that when it fails you, they will welcome you into eternal dwellings.”

What we are looking for is to be welcomed into eternal dwelling places, into Jesus’ kingdom, whilst already on earth. The aim of our life is to help our brothers who are in need, with Jesus in his Love and Word.

God is received by the poor, those who suffer turn towards him all the time. He is always there for us, on the side of those who suffer, and through us he wants to come to their aid.

The wealthy are blessed by God when they put to use their goods to help the poor and suffering.

God wants us to be always in a state of joy with Him, He trusts us. If we live from faith and believe in Him He will make us happy, if we live from is Joy he will gives us complete Joy one that will never end.

He helps us to enter into a new spirit of Love so that we get out of all that makes us unhappy. Jesus proposes we becomes the beloved child of the Father. He has us enter into a whole new Love for Him and lets us be guided by the Holy God. This is the link of Love between our own heart and that of God who is our life. Everything that serves this link of love is to be developed! The Holy Spirit works with us to free us and have the love in our heart fructify. This inner freedom allows God to take his place within us. ’Everything proves to be good for those who love God.’

’Anyone who is trustworthy in little things is trustworthy in great; anyone who is dishonest in little things is dishonest in great."

Relationships are what bring us life and when they continue to be deepened. The numerous encounters of Jesus which are sown throughout the Gospel reveal this. Like the disciples, each of us is going through an ordeal, what remains are the relationships lived out in light.

Jesus invite us to always go further. Faced with misery in the world, we seek to see what makes the people we encounter happy.

Coming to the aid of our brothers s to gather spiritual treasures : ’All that is not given is lost.’

We bless God for all the good things he gives us, free with all people we are at the service of all.

Everything proves to be good for others goes the same for ourselves.

Use money to make you friends, tainted as it is, says Jesus in the Gospel

“No servant can be the slave of two masters; he will either hate the first and love the second, or be attached to the first and despise the second. You cannot be the slave both of God and money.”

In order to reach the depths of my own being when in relationship with another, I can offer myself up with Jesus. He wishes to give Himself to ach one of us as much as He can if we let Him.

At every moment of our life there is an opening offered to us. We can leave the place for others, to the relationship, and then the oxygen of life passes through. It frees us.

We are marked by the suffering of many people who have all they need. They are in need of nothing, yet something in their life make s them unhappy : anguish, the fact of not knowing whether they are loved or not!

Jesus comes to our aid : ’Use money, tainted as it is, to make you friends, and thus make sure that when it fails you, they will welcome you into eternal dwellings."

We struggle against misery together, each one of us does what we can.

We have witnessed how people with nothing sing all the time, living united and helping each other out.

We give thanks to God and have absolute trust for in Him we know we are loved. This is how the poor express themselves! As the birds of the air neither sow nor harvest, as the followers of the fields grow in an admirable way, even the hairs on out head are all counted.

To be surrendered to God’s Love, not to grow angry when lacking things, not to say everything is going wrong just because our plans didn’t turn out as we wanted them to, for God is everything for us in our life.

We ask for the grace to be available to serve God and our sisters and brothers.
