Is.10 5..16 Ps.94 Mt.11,25-27

Saint Henry

’At that time, Jesus exclaimed ’I bless you, Father, Lord of Heaven and earth, for hiding these things from the learned and the clever and revealing them to little children."

Jesus is telling us agan that God is mysterious being who can only be known if he reveals hilmself.

In His way of revealing himself, he continues to remain hidden. He always appears differenly than we realise or how we discover him to be.

He Lord of Heaven and earth manifets his wealth, hsi prodigious aspect, his genrosity, the wealth of his heart for the tiny little ones.

But he goes far beyond this wealth, beond this beauty he spreads. He is not just the one we can get to know through His Creaton. He is also the one who lets himself be encountered. But encounter means to have a poor heart , the poor heart of a tiny little one.

Jesus has us penetrate into the mysteries of the life of God’s Love and to enter into divine Wisdom.

Jesus, ’the Son of man’ exclaims ’Eveything has been commanded by my Father.’

His human nature, formed in the womb of the Blessed Virgin Mary, is the expression of the Person of the Word of God.

In God who is revealed, there is no darkness and it is thanks to Jesus that for us night is even brigther tha daylght.

So we listen to God who tells us we ought to be even more attentive to the little and poor ones and by celebrating Saint Henry we discover what heart is needed to govern. To govern our responsabilities so that thee smallest of the Kingdom may be at the heart of the Nation.

“Yes, Father for that is what it pleased you to do.”

Jesus turns the poor into a ’People of priests, prophets and kings’.

To be attentive to the poor and little ones is a source of wealth for whoever wishes to grow in his relationshup with Chrsit.

This is how God’s goodness manifests itsef, it is a stong gentleness which leads each one of hs creatures free to develop to grow so as to move towards Him.

Each one of us has to find the path to tie himelf to his littlenes again to be human to know how to recive through a gift to know how to be fulfilled by another person.

It is God’s goodness which guides each of us on the road of our true growth.

Jesus, the Son, brings this about perfectly and He fully gve thanks to the Father.

No one can claim they know such secrets even by trying to elucidate themselves by intense studying.

There is a wisdom obtained by faith, simplicty and inner humility.

Jesus is Present for the poor and little ones, he gave his Life for them.

Saint Henry, in his way of governing discerns the priorities. He organises his community in a way that the poor and little one and the poorest people are there in the first place when the People of God come together in the Eucharsitic celebration. They are in such great need of the Eucharist.

The Body and Blood of Jesus are nourishment for those who suffer, for the little ones and the poor who are the strengh of prayer which the Church needs so much.

“Everything has been entrusted to me by my Father ; and no one knows the Son except the Father, just as no one knows the Father exceptte Son and those to whom the Son choosnes to reveal him.”

A dimension of the Father is revaled to us.

Jesus tellss that Everything has been commended to him by the Father, he opens up for us a whole new univese of realtionshps in Him.

God who knwos how to withdraw so we come to the front, reveals himself like this as the one we can love perfectly, he loves us wih so much respect and delicacy.

There is a unique link between the heart of the poor and the heart of God. The poor is nourished by the Word of God, the Body and Blood of Chrsit, this is what makes him live essentially.

The heart of somene poor is gong to be very sensitive to whatever seems unjust to him.

Saint Henry asked the Pope’ Why don’t we say the Credo at Sunday mass?’

We have to say the Credo on Sundays, God’s people needs to be reminded of the faith of the Church on Sundays otherwise it will risk to forget it.

This is when it was asked that we pray the Credo on Sundays

Those who look after the poor attentively know what their heart is in need of.

’I bless you Lord, Father of Heaven and earth for having revealed your mystery to the poor and little ones."

We ask for the grace to place our priorities in favour of the poor who are invited to the Wedding feast
